3/17 – 7:49 p.m. – Police responded to a domestic disturbance, on East White Street. The altercation was between a male and female in a dating relationship. The male reportedly made physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature with the victim, and was taken into custody. The St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office charged the suspect, Justin E. Blakey age 40 of Millstadt, with Domestic Battery – Subsequent Offense, a Class 4 Felony. The charge was a felony due to the defendant having been convicted previously of a domestic battery.
