Evacuation ordered 1/2 radius from 1200W Washington in Alexandria 
Alexandria Fire Department and numerous mutual aid departments are on scene of a vehicle accident which struck a natural gas pipeline causing a fire. The gas line rupture and fire has prompted a 1/2 mile evacuation in all directions. Evacuees should go to the old Alexandria Police Station.
No information is available at this time on the condition of the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident.
News media staging is at the community center across from the Alex Fire Department. EMA PIO HArmeson is on scene coordinating PIO activities at this time.
