#LASD Detectives Need Your Help Identifying Suspects Who Attacked a Resident, El Rancho Verde Dr, #Cerritos @CERLASD

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Cerritos Station detectives are asking for your help in identifying and locating 3 suspects who attacked one of their residents.

On Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at 11:01 p.m., Cerritos Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to the 4600 block of El Rancho Verde Drive, Cerritos, regarding an “assault with a deadly weapon” call.

Their preliminary investigation revealed the male homeowner was working inside his garage when he was approached by one of three armed suspects.  The victim was pistol whipped on his head and ordered to the ground as the two other suspects entered his residence.

While inside the residence, the female homeowner was confronted by the two other armed suspects and ordered to the ground.  The two suspects began to walk towards the rear of the residence when they abruptly turned and ran out the front door out of view.

The male victim was treated for head injuries and the female victim was unharmed.  There were two children asleep inside the residence and were also unharmed.  No property was taken from the residence.

All three suspects were described as male blacks in their 20’s.  Two handguns and a rifle were used in the crime. These men are considered armed and dangerous.

The investigation is on-going.
