Jackson police are investigating an early morning shooting that occurred inside of 449 E. Baltimore St.
At approximately 8:40 AM offices received a 911 call concerning a female down inside of the law firm. Responding officers located a female inside the business suffering from an apparent gunshot.
The victim was transported by emergency medical services to one of the local hospitals. The extent of her injuries are not known at this time.
Officers are attempting to identify a person of interest in this case. This is an ongoing investigation.
