The Janesville Police Department is assisting the Rock County Sheriff’s Office with an investigation involving a burglary to Armageddon Gun Shop, 2144 W US Highway 14, Janesville. During the course of the investigation non-specific information was received that lead the Janesville Police Department and the Janesville School District to take extra precautions until the burglary suspect is taken into custody. There are no viable threats to specific students or staff within the school district. Additional information will be shared with the public as it is obtained by law enforcement.
