OSBI Helps Investigate Guthrie Homicide
OSBI special agents and Guthrie Police detectives are working together to solve an overnight homicide in that city. Just after midnight, someone called 9-1-1 to report shots being fired at 312 S. Oak in Guthrie. When officers arrived, they found 24-year-old Joey Angelo, of Guthrie, shot multiple times on the front porch of the residence. Angelo was transported to OU Medical Center where doctors pronounced him dead. OSBI special agents have spent the day collecting information from witnesses at the home and evidence from the crime scene as they develop suspects in the case. No arrests have been made at this time.
