The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Special Victims Bureau is investigating a sexual assault involving Ronald Douglas. During the investigation, DNA evidence revealed that Suspect Ronald Douglas was linked to a 2015 case where he is suspected of sexually assaulting a 37-year old female.

Both cases occurred in the city of Norwalk where Suspect Douglas offered to walk the victims home or give them a ride.  Shortly thereafter, at a secondary location, Suspect Douglas proceeded to sexually assault the victims. 

On March 5, 2017, Suspect Douglas was arrested for rape and sexual assault of a 40 year old female.

On March 7, 2017, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed 10 felony counts of sexual assault related crimes against Suspect Douglas. 

He was booked at Norwalk Sheriff’s Station, and is being held in lieu of a $2,000,000.00 bail.  His next court date will be at the Norwalk Superior Court on April 7, 2017.
