RIPON ANIMAL SERVICES PART TIME ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
RIPON ANIMAL SERVICES
PART TIME ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER $13.00 per hour up to 20 hours a week.

THE POSITION: Under general supervision, this individual is responsible for maintaining the animal shelter, responding to animal related calls, locate, remove and transport deceased animals, locate apprehend and impound stray, sick, diseased, and dangerous animals, poultry, and livestock.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be at least 18 years old, must possess a valid California Driver’s license and live within 35-mile radius of the City of Ripon. Applicants must be willing to work weekends and holidays. Applicants considered for employment must pass a medical and background screening.

SELECTION PROCEDURE: Applicants are screened for completeness and minimum qualifications. Once screened, candidates will participate in an oral board. An eligibility list will be established by ranking candidates according to their overall scores. The list will remain in effect for one (1) year unless sooner exhausted, terminated or extended by the City.

Wilma Avenue, Ripon, CA 95366 or at our Animal Shelter located at 444 Doak Blvd, Ripon, CA 95366. Applications and resumes must be submitted by April 20, 2017 by 5pm to the Ripon Police Department for consideration.
