Crime Information and Public Safety Report for Canyon Country:
March 20-26, 2017

03/20/17 

Commercial Burglary- 26400 block of Golden Valley Road 
Person(s) unknown forced entry into a personal locker at a nearby business and stole the victim’s purse and wallet. 

Commercial Burglary- 26900 block of Sierra Highway 
One suspect was arrested for entering a business and attempting to pass a fictitious check. 

03/21/17 

Residential Burglary- 18000 block of Annes Circle 
Person(s) unknown forced entry into the victim’s residence and stole numerous items from within. 

03/22/17 

Grand Theft Auto- 27900 block of Oakgale Lane 
Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s vehicle which was parked near the above location. 

03/23/17 

Vehicle Burglary- 19100 block of Soledad Canyon Road 
Person(s) unknown forced entry into the victim’s vehicle and stole a set of keys. 

Residential Burglary- 18000 block of Annes Circle 
Person(s) unknown entered the victim’s residence while the victim was home. The victim confronted the suspect, and in doing so, the suspect ran away. 
 

03/24/17 

Aggravated Assault- 27300 block of Palo Verde Place 
Person(s) unknown shot one round from a gun in the victim’s direction while she was returning home and entering her garage

Residential Burglary- 27500 block of Sierra Highway 
The victim stated while watching television, she heard a loud noise from her bedroom. She walked inside her bedroom and saw the suspect standing next to her bed. The victim yelled at the suspect to leave and he jumped out of a nearby window and out of view. 

03/26/17 

Grand Theft- 18500 block of Soledad Canyon Road 
The victim stated she forgot her purse in a shopping cart at a nearby store. When she returned the purse was gone.

IF YOU WITNESS A CRIME 

If you see or suspect a crime is being committed, pay particular attention to the features of the offender(s) and any vehicles involved. Try to be prepared to provide at least the following about the offenders: 

When reporting a crime by telephone, remain on the phone until the dispatcher is fully briefed with all the information necessary to dispatch the appropriate response personnel to the scene. 

1. Age, race, height, and weight; 

2. Hair color and style, beard and mustache; 

3. Notable characteristics (acne, scars, glasses mental state, etc.) 

4. Clothing description; 

5. Location where last seen; 

6. Last known direction of travel; 

7. Vehicle description and distinctive markings. 

Witnesses who wish to remain anonymous may do so. It is more important that a response be dispatched as quickly as possible.
