On April 2, 2017 at 2:29 a.m., Sergeant John Fischer conducted a traffic stop on a White 2015 Camry for speeding on US 41 near State Road 68. Upon approaching the vehicle Sergeant Fischer identified the driver as 40 year old Keith Chenault of Evansville, Indiana. Upon speaking with Mr. Chenault Sergeant Fischer detected the odor of alcohol on the driver and began a roadside DUI investigation. At the conclusion of Sergeant Fischer’s investigation Mr. Chenault was placed into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. At the Gibson County Jail Mr. Chenault was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated (DUI.) Mr. Chenault has since posted a $900 bond.
