UPDATE #LASD Homicide Assist Huntington Park PD, Shooting Death Investigation, 6300 blk Pacific Blvd, Huntington Park
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a woman and the injury of two others that occurred on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 2:08 A.M. in the 6300 block of Pacific Boulevard and Clarendon Avenue, Huntington Park.
Detectives learned that four occupants of a sports utility vehicle were driving in the area of Pacific Boulevard and Clarendon Avenue when an unknown suspect fired numerous gunshots into their vehicle. A woman who was the right front passenger was struck in the head. The driver, a Hispanic man was struck in the right arm, a male Hispanic rear passenger sustained a grazing wound to the head and a gunshot to the leg. A second backseat passenger was not injured.
The driver of the vehicle drove to a nearby hospital where his female passenger died as a result of her injuries. He and his other injured passenger were treated for their wounds.
There is no suspect information nor a motive for the shooting at this time.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are responding to the 6300 block of Pacific Boulevard, Huntington Park, to assist Huntington Park Police Department to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death that left one woman dead and a man injured.
The female victim was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. The male victim's condition is unknown at this time.
There is no suspect information.
