03/20/17 

Burglary - 25300  block of The Old Rd 

Person(s) unknown entered the victim’s home and stole her 36” computer monitor, X Box One, and a wedding ring (1/2 carat diamond with silver band). The victim stated that when she returned home, she found the front door and rear sliding door open. She stated she had locked both door prior to leaving her home. Total loss was $2,800.00. 
 

Tip of the Week: Make it a Habit and Check Your Home 

Anytime you are going to leave your home, even if only for a little while, make a habit of checking all your doors and windows before you leave and assure they are all closed and locked. Many think it is okay to leave second story windows open, however if that window is above a patio or close to a retaining wall, a thief may still be able to get in.
