Lomita Deputies Nab Four Car Theft Suspects in Rancho Palos Verdes

At approximately 2:30 am on April 1, 2017, Lomita Station deputies located a stolen vehicle in Rancho Palos Verdes in the vicinity of Hawthorne Boulevard and Palos Verdes Drive West.  The deputies were alerted to the vehicle as the result of an Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) hit.  The vehicle, a 2001 Nissan, failed to pull over for the deputies and a pursuit ensued.

The vehicle traveled through residential neighborhoods in the area of Hawthorne Boulevard and Crest Road, before ultimately being abandoned in the 30000 block of Avenida Classica.  One suspect was immediately arrested, but the other three occupants of the car attempted to flee on foot.  Deputies quickly located and arrested the trio with the assistance of a Sheriff’s helicopter.

Adan Fregoso 20 years old, Steven Pachecho, 18 years old, along with two juveniles, are being booked at Lomita Sheriff’s Station for a variety of charges.  All four suspects are residents of San Pedro.  The Nissan was reported stolen out of the Harbor Area on Friday, March 31, 2017.
