Newburgh man arrested on Driving While Suspended charge.

On April 1, 2017, at 9:04 a.m. Sergeant Tim Coomer was dispatched to Interstate 69 near the Interstate 64 intersection to investigate a traffic accident. Upon arriving Sergeant Coomer began an investigation into the accident where a Grey 2007 Ford Vehicle and a Silver 2011 Infinity vehicle were involved. During the investigation Sergeant Coomer ran both drivers through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and discovered that the driver of the Infinity passenger car 29 year old Tuang Za Lian of Newburgh was operating his vehicle on a suspended license. At the conclusion of Sergeant Coomer’s investigation Mr. Lian was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Driving While Suspended. Mr. Lian has since posted a $1300 bond.

Assisting Sergeant Coomer in his investigation was Deputy George Ballard.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
