Man Who Attacked Woman and Child at Steak & Shake Captured After Three Hour Standoff! Sheriff Victor Hill 
Johnie Flakes made #5 On Sheriff Victor Hill's Top Ten Most Wanted for beating a woman and her child at the Steak n Shake located at 2118 Mt. Zion Parkway on November 7, 2016. The child was struck several times in the face with a closed fist and sustained injuries which caused bleeding from her ear. The adult female suffered an injury to the left eye, and a ripped cornea, which rendered her unable to judge distance and disrupts her daily activities.
Today the U. S. Marshals Task Force along with members of Sheriff Victor Hill's elite Fugitive Squad spotted Flakes at 11846 Pine Needle Lane Hampton, GA 30228. Flakes ran back into the residence and refused to come out. His girlfriend, Wendy Canada Carrol, who was also charged and arrested earlier for the Nov. 17th incident at Steak and Shake was there and came out peacefully turning herself in to authorities. Carrol told Deputies and Officers that Flakes had access to a pistol and long gun. She also stated that Flakes told her he was not going back to jail.
Sheriff Victor Hill's elite SWAT team was activated and members of Clayton County Police elite Bomb and Robot unit was requested and responded as well. Members of Sheriff Victor Hill's Hostage Negotiation team also responded as well. Clayton PD robot experts deployed a robot inside the house and eventually made contact with Flakes who spoke to a negotiator through the robot. Flakes wisely decided to come out without a fight and now faces the wall at Georgia's toughest para-military jail. His girlfriend who was out on bond for this incident and who was not supposed to have any contact with him as a condition of her bond is also a guest of the Sheriff for a second time and is facing the wall as well.
As promised by the Sheriff, "any man who harms women or children in Clayton County will be hunted relentlessly".
