Timely Warning - Sexual Battery

Sexual Battery
Several Locations on Campus
UCPD Case # 17-00781
On Friday, March 24, 2017 UCPD received a report of a sexual battery which had occurred on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at approximately 10:30 p.m.  The victim, a non-affilliate, and the suspect were walking through the campus when the suspect groped the victim without her consent.  The victim was able to get away from the suspect as they approached Bancroft and College.  The victim was not physically injured during the encounter.
The suspect was described as:

A Black male, 23 or 24 years of age, 5’5” in height, with a medium build and medium complexion, short dark brown hair, brown eyes, wearing a gray hooded jacket, jeans, a gray backpack and possibly an earring.

  • If you start to feel concerns about a person or a situation, trust your
    feelings and try to remove yourself from the potential threat, even if it
    is someone whom you know.
  • Please do not delay in calling 911.  UCPD strongly encourages the reporting of criminal or suspicious activity in a timely manner to assist us in intervening in potential criminal actively and apprehending suspects.
