TPD and Other Agencies Taking a Regional Approach to Coyotes

The Torrance Police Department and other surrounding cities are taking a regional approach to handling the urban coyote population.  Coyote information is shared with other agencies that are also experiencing urban coyote sightings.  Quarterly meetings are held with several surrounding agencies including the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.

The Torrance Police Department was asked to speak at the last regional meeting.  Please view the following article by the Daily Breeze for further information and details on the last meeting.
