The suspects involved in the shoplifting from 41 Stonebrook, Kroger, have been apprehended.
At approximately 11:46 a.m., officers of the Jackson Police Department responded to a shoplifting call where three black suspects took an undetermined amount of items from Kroger and fled the scene in a champagne colored Buick. The driver of this vehicle attempted to assault an officer as they evaded apprehension. This led to a lengthy pursuit through Jackson. This vehicle was last seen in the area of South Jackson.
