(Harris County, TX) Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide investigators say that Jeremy Jones And Harvey Jones were taken into custody by the Gulf Coast Violent Offender And Fugitive Task Force yesterday, March 29,2017.

Investigators charged 28-year-old Jeremy Jones with capital murder multi and 34-year-old Harvey Jones with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

On Sunday, March 26, 2017, at approximately 6:28pm, Sheriff's Deputies responded to a shooting at the Haverstock Hill Apartments, located at 5619 Aldine Bender in north east Harris County.

Upon their arrival they found a 31-year-old Gary Rusher was shot to death and five other people were wounded.

Christopher Beatty, who was one of the wounded, was transported to LBJ Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased due to his injuries.

The remaining four victims were also transported to various hospitals for treatment.

Homicide Investigators learned that there was an argument between the victims and a resident.

A few minutes after the argument, Jeremy Jones and Harvey Jones arrived on the property in a white four door vehicle.

Both males exited the vehicle and argued with the victims.

Harvey Jones retrieved a semi-automatic rifle and from the trunk and pointed at the victims.

Jeremy Jones then pointed the rifle and fired at the victims striking all six victims with multiple gun shots.

After the shooting both men fled the scene in the vehicle.

Additional charges are pending on both men .
