The Janesville Police Department announces the hiring of two police officers on March 20th, 2017. The new officers are Bruce J. Danielson and Joseph A. Fox.

Officer Bruce Danielson is from Janesville, WI, age 44. He completed the Blackhawk Technical College police academy in 2004. Officer Danielson most recently worked for the Rock County Jail as a correctional officer and for the Orfordville Police Department as a part time patrol officer. He enjoys motorcycles, golf and being on the water.

Officer Joseph Fox is from Janesville, WI, age 27. He graduated from the University Wisconsin-Whitewater in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology with a Criminal Justice emphasis. He completed the Blackhawk Technical College police academy in November 2013. Officer Fox most recently worked for the Milton Police Department as a patrol officer. He enjoys spending time with his family and deer hunting.
