Full Notification

This morning at 9:49, ECCL was asked to Shelter In Place due to an incident that had occurred in Oakland. An ECCL student, on their way to school, reported a subject who was possibly armed with a weapon. The Emeryville Police Department responded and coordinated with ECCL officials for the Shelter In Place. After a search of the area, EPD determined the subject never entered the campus and had left the area. Later, on an unrelated call, EPD officers located the same subject and took them into custody. That investigation is on going. No weapon was located.
