Burglary Investigations Lead to Search Warrants
The Janesville Police Department investigated four burglaries. The first burglary occurred on 03/22/2017 at Northland Equipment at 306 W State St and three burglaries occurred on the same day at the same residence on 03/23/2017 in the 1000 block of N Wuthering Hills Dr. Thousands of dollars in property was stolen from both locations.
The investigation led officers to 215 S Jackson St apartments #3 and #4. Search warrants were drafted, signed and simultaneously executed on 03/24/2017 at 7:05 PM at these apartments. The investigation led to the recovery of some of the stolen property. There is still additional investigation into this matter. The Janesville Police Department does ask if anyone has information on these burglaries to contact the Janesville Police Department or Janesville Area Crime Stoppers.
