During the last two months, Carson Detectives have been investigating several storage burglaries, window smash burglaries of local business and a grand theft of a commercial vehicle. The attached grainy surveillance photograph of a suspect's vehicle and a photograph of a male wearing a hoodie sweatshirt, was the only evidence they had to solve the cases. The detectives spent hours researching hundreds of license plate combinations to locate a possible suspect vehicle. Detectives located the vehicle in the 21300 block of Avalon Boulevard in Carson.  They identified a suspect who was already wanted on a burglary warrant and was on probation.
 
On Wednesday, March 22, 2017, Detectives arrested the male suspect and a female companion at their residence. They recovered property from the past committed crimes, as well as identity theft related evidence including credit cards, embossers and victim's information.  The case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for consideration of a criminal filing.
