The National Weather Service, Oxnard office has issued a FLOOD ADVISORY FOR EASTERN VENTURA AND NORTHWESTERN LOS ANGELES COUNTIES. At 724 PM PDT, NWS Doppler radar continued to indicate a strong thunderstorm between Lake Piru and Canyon Country. There have been several spotter reports of flooded roadways across Santa Clarita Valley as well as small hail with this thunderstorm approaching the Sand Burn Area. There will be the possibility of minor debris flows with this thunderstorm. Stay out of river beds and washes as water can quickly rise and sweep people away. Do not drive across flooded roadways as well. Turn Around Don`t Drown. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lake Piru...Santa Clarita...including the Sand Burn Area.
