Scam Alert! The Marion Police Department would like to warn the citizens of Marion and McDowell Co.of a phone scam that is active in our area. Beware of individual(s) calling and saying that you have won a sum of money through the Publishers Clearing House. They would ask for you to register and provide personal information like a credit card number for fee purposes. Beware that anytime anyone asks for any personal information over the phone it is highly likely to be a scam.
