#009 Suspended License Arrest
At 8:51 a.m., Officer Blanchet stopped a vehicle in the area of Peralta and Dusterberry for not having a rear license plate, in violation of VC5200(a).  The 41 year old male was served notice of having a suspended driver’s license and was issued a citation for not having a rear license plate. 

#011 Warrant and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest
At 9:54 a.m., Officer Franchi stopped a 21 year old adult male pedestrian in the area of Mowry and Fremont for failing to obey a posted sign.  The male was on probation and had a failure to appear warrant out of San Mateo County.  He was arrested.  While this was occurring, his girlfriend arrived at the scene.  During a search, per her probation terms, a pipe with white residue in it was located.  She was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Both parties were booked at the Fremont Jail without incident.

#008 Residential Burglary
At 8:13 a.m. Officer Franchi was dispatched to investigate a report of a residential burglary in the 4600 block of Boone Dr. The victim saw the suspects leave in a red SUV.  

#039 DUI Arrest
At 11:01 p.m., Officer Gregory and Officer Wong, working DUI enforcement, arrested a 25 year old adult male, Fremont resident, for DUI in the area of Fremont Blvd. and Nicolet Ave.
 
#003 Warrant Arrest
At 12:08 a.m., Officer Gigliotti contacted two males sleeping in a vehicle in the area of Fremont Blvd and Alder Ave.  One of the men had a no bail warranted issued by the Marin County Sheriff’s Office.  The 43 year old adult male was arrested and booked at the Fremont Jail for his warrant.  
 
#010 DUI Arrest
At 2:45 a.m., Officer La Strape went to check on a white Chevy Silverdo parked eastbound on Peralta Blvd, just east of Parish Pl that he had passed an hour prior while enroute to another call.  At that time, the vehicle was parked at the same location with the head and tail lights on.  Officer La Strape approached the parked vehicle and activated a spot light.  The engine was on and running with the head and tail lights still on.   As he approached the vehicle, he observed a male in the driver seat asleep.  He knocked on the window, but the male did not wake up.  Officers eventually opened the door and gently tapped him to wake him up.  The 37 year old adult male, Fremont resident, was arrested for DUI after officers conducted a series of field sobriety tests on the driver. 
 
#005 Hit and Run Collision/Stolen Vehicle Report
At 11:41 p.m., Officer Paiva responded to a single vehicle collision at Mission/Grau.  A driver in a tan 1999 Buick LS (later reported stolen), struck a pole and then fled on foot prior to our arrival.  Approximately one hour later, the registered owner of the vehicle called to report that her car had been stolen earlier in the night while she was at work off of Crestwood St.  Officers searched for witnesses and video but were unsuccessful.   Case investigated by Officer Paiva.

#015 Public Intoxication Arrest
At 7:20 a.m., Officer Perry responded to a disturbance in the 39200 block of Paseo Padre Parkway where a male was reportedly yelling and being belligerent towards customers.  Officers arrived and made contact with the male who yelled and threatened officers, using profanity.   Ultimately, the male was arrested for public intoxication and taken to Santa Rita.  Upon arrival he refused to get out of the patrol car, but was eventually escorted into the booking area of the jail. 

#026 Outside Assist
At 2:21 p.m., officers responded to Red Lobster on Fremont Blvd. regarding two young juvenile girls at the restaurant who were unable to pay for food they had ordered.  Officers learned through a records check the two had been reported missing out of Hayward.  The two juveniles were safely returned to their parents and taken out of the missing persons database.

#034 Robbery
At 8:12 p.m., units were dispatched to a robbery at the Walmart on Osgood Rd after a male suspect walked out of the store with a phone and then brandished a utility knife at a store employee who confronted him. Officers arrived a short time later and are able to ID the suspect, who had left the scene, after watching video surveillance.  Officers are seeking a warrant for the arrest of the suspect for robbery and brandishing a weapon.

#043 Warrant Arrest
At approximately 10:30 p.m., Officer Latimer conducted a pedestrian stop at Civic Center and Walnut.  He contacted a 27 year old adult male and arrested him for his misdemeanor warrant.
 
#004 DUI Arrest
At 2:12 a.m., Officer Oliveira and Officer Higgins, working DUI enforcement, conducted a traffic stop in the area of Stewart Ave and Christy St, after witnessing a vehicle drive through a stop sign at a slow speed.  The female admitted to have been at the Saddle Rack earlier in the evening, but was kicked out and was returning to pick up friends.  After a series of field sobriety tests, the 36 year old adult female was arrested for DUI.
 
#001 Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest
At 11:53 p.m., a very intoxicated male called to report that a male family member had brandished a knife at him.  The reporting party was very upset and at one point threatened to “call Trump if we didn’t send PD now” as he spoke to dispatchers.  Officers arrived and found that the reporting party (suspect) had actually struck the family member with a chair over an argument.  The 31 year old adult male suspect was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and transported to Santa Rita Jail.  Case investigated by Officer Berrier.

#008 Warrant Arrest
At 6:14 a.m., Officer Paiva arrested an adult female for a misdemeanor warrant after responding to a family disturbance call in the 600 block of Upper Vintners Ci. 

#017 Warrant Arrest
At 1:35 p.m., officers responded to a trespassing call at an empty house on the 3500 block of Peralta Blvd.  During the investigation, Officer Ehling arrested a 29 year old adult female for a no bail assault with a deadly weapon warrant.

#015 Commercial Burglary
Officers investigated a commercial burglary on the 1300 block of Fulton Pl.  Unknown suspect(s) pried a gate and entered a construction trailer during the night.  CSO Romero is investigating. 

#025 Suspicious Circumstances
A resident on Serramonte Terrace in Niles called to report that after hearing her doorbell ring, she found a male standing in the threshold of her unlocked front door. When the victim asked the male what he was doing, he mumbled something about selling papers and walked out of the house. He was described as a white male adult in his 30’s, 6’2”, blonde, wearing a Warrior’s hat with a flashlight on it, a ragged navy blue shirt and old Levi’s. Witnesses in the area said they saw a similar male leaving the area on a bike.

#001 DUI Arrest
Officer Rose was dispatched to the area of Stevenson Blvd and Davis for a hit and run collision.  A single vehicle struck a pole and fled the area.  A witness was able to obtain a partial license plate and vehicle description.  Officer Rose was able to locate the vehicle at a residence on Crockett St.  He made contact with the driver of the vehicle, a the 68 year old driver and arrested him for DUI.

#005 Missing Person Report
At approximately 5:10 a.m., a reporting party called to advise that her husband was missing from their residence on Old Canyon Rd.  The 83 year old male has a serious medical condition, designating him to be at-risk.  He had last been seen at 9:00 p.m. the previous night and had left the residence on foot.  Multiple officers conducted a search of the area and Fremont Fire responded to assist in the search with their drone.  A code red message was sent out and the department also issued a Nixle Alert, as well as posted to Twitter and Facebook.  We received information at 9:31 a.m. that he had been possibly sighted in the 6000 block of Cedar Blvd. in Newark.  Newark Police located him shortly thereafter and Fremont officers responded to their location.  He was safely returned home.
