Sheriff Victor Hill's Joint Operation "Knightfall" Nets 15 Arrested Today!
Today members of Riverdale PD, State Officers from Community Supervision, and the Clayton County Sheriff's Office joined forces to execute Operation "Knightfall". Operation Knightfall is an operation designed to locate suspects in Clayton County with outstanding warrants. 15 people were arrested today thanks to the team work of the three agencies involved.
Out of the 15 arrested, Scherrie Jackson proved to be the most interesting one. Jackson was wanted for felony theft by taking for stealing approximately $2,400.00 dollars of a tax return she did for someone. When Deputies went to Jackson's' home to arrest her, she refused to come to the door after Deputies knocked several times and announced "Sheriff's Office" very loudly. Ms. Jackson also turned off the lights inside of her apartment, hoping that Sheriff Victor Hill's Deputies would go away while telling a male present with her not to answer the door.
After approx. 20 minutes, Ms. Jackson realized that the Sheriff's Office was not leaving and was preparing to knock down the door. Jackson then opened the door and was taken into custody with an additional charge of Obstructing an Officer.
Along with the 14 others, Jackson now faces the wall at Georgia's toughest para-military jail where the doors are opened and closed for her without her consent.
