#010 Warrant Arrest
At 8:29 a.m., Officer Han and Officer Singh contacted a 30 year old adult male on the 33600 block of Pereira Ct. for service of his misdemeanor warrant.
#018 Warrant Service
Officer Liu and Officer Hanrahan contacted a male in the area of Camellia/Primrose Ct. and arrested him for a grand theft warrant. The warrant was later recalled and the male was released from custody.
#032 Assault with a Deadly Weapon
A victim called 9-1-1 to report that she was at Bean Scene Coffee Shop when the suspect, later identified as a 61 year old adult female, hit her twice with a metal chair. The victim advised that the female was now across the street. Officers arrived on scene and located the female. The victim identified the suspect as the person that hit her with the metal chair. The victim sustained a hand injury. The suspect was transported to Santa Rita Jail and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and grand theft.

#044 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest
At 10:18 p.m., Officer Dubowy arrested a 54 year old adult male for possession of drug paraphernalia during an attempted warrant service on Kahlua Ct.
#004 DUI and Hit and Run Arrest
At 2:46 a.m., Officer Dubowy was dispatched to an ascertain the problem call on the 40000 block of Ingersoll Terrace. The reporting party told dispatch that a vehicle had crashed into their vehicle and the driver was continuing to accelerate. While responding, officers noticed a male matching the description given by the caller walking northbound on Ingersoll Terrace. Officers also noticed the suspect vehicle parked on the road with front end damage. A pedestrian stop was conducted and the 26 year old adult male was arrested for DUI and Hit and Run.

#013 Mental Health Evaluation
Officers were dispatched to a disturbance on Mayten Way. The reporting party advised dispatch that a male was at the front door threatening to break a window. The reporting party advised dispatch that the male was armed with a fileting knife. Due to past history with the male, several officers respond to the area. He is located in front of the residence and flees on foot towards Starlite. Officers follow the male and he eventually stops on Starlite in an uninvolved residence's driveway, where officers make verbal contact. He is initially non-compliant and officers attempt negotiations with him for approximately 90 minutes. Officers are eventually successful in getting the male to agree to get some help today. Before being transported by ambulance, officers locate a large knife hidden in his waist band. Scene supervised by Sgt. Miller, documented by Officer C. Gonzales.
#017 Commercial Burglary
CSO Sturm investigated a commercial burglary that occurred at a business on Albrae St. The business had been burglarized sometime over the weekend, unknown loss at the time of the initial report.
#036 Warrant Arrest
Officer Knudson developed information about a wanted 34 year old adult male with an active warrant for $25k. Officer Knudson arrested the male in the area of Christy St and Automall Pkwy. Sgt. Mahboobi supervised the incident.
#038 Petty Theft
An employee from Walgreens (Mowry/Paseo) called to report a robbery and stated a suspect stole a phone charger. The suspect description was broadcast over the radio and he was last seen walking towards Civic Center Dr. Officer Catassi detained a possible suspect at Civic Center and Walnut Ave. An in-field was conducted and the employee identified the 30 year old adult male suspect as the person that stole the merchandise. The male was transported and booked at Santa Rita Jail. Case investigated by Officer Watts and FTO Harvey.
#040 Vandalsim
A victim was at his business off Albrae St when he heard a “loud bang”. He went to the front of the store and saw what he thought was a bullet hole. Officer Scherer responded and after looking at the damage it was determined it was not a gun but a BB gun that caused the damage. The victim only saw a dark colored vehicle leaving at a high rate of speed southbound on Albrae St.

#042 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest
Officer Gregory arrested a 38 year old adult male for possession of drug paraphernalia during a vehicle stop near Lincoln St/Lincoln Ct.
#001 Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Resisting Arrest
Several units responded to a silent robbery alarm at Nation’s Restaurant on Mowry Ave. Upon arrival, a male was seen running from the business across Mowry Ave. During the contact with the male, he refused to obey commands and a Taser was deployed. The robbery was unfounded, but the male admitted he ran and discarded drugs upon seeing police. Officer Higgins arrested the male for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest.
#004 DUI Arrest
Officer Davis arrested a 21 year old for DUI. A citizen found the male passed out in his vehicle at the intersection of Thornton Ave/Fremont Bl. Miranda was unconscious with the vehicle was in drive and running. Officer Davis and Officer Perry had to block in the vehicle and break a window to safely get to the passed out male.
