State of Emergency / Travel Ban Update

Mayor Gary Herzig has announced that the State of Emergency and ban on non-emergency vehicle travel in the City of Oneonta has been lifted.  The Snow Emergency, however, remains in effect.  On-street parking will remain prohibited until further notice to allow for snow removal and adequate space for safe travel.  Vehicles parked on City streets will be towed.

Mayor Herzig states, "There are many pedestrians in the roads and visibility is restricted due to the large amount of snow lining the streets.  Drivers and pedestrians alike should use extreme caution.  Let's all work together to get through this storm safely."
