Good Evening. This is the Town of Clinton First Selectman, Bruce Farmer. Based on forecasts, the state is bracing for a major winter snow storm which will begin impacting our area very early Tuesday morning. The heaviest snow will take place all day on Tuesday. As a result of this, a parking ban will be in effect for Clinton starting Monday, March 13 at 6:00pm through Wednesday, March 15 at 6:00am. Clinton Public Schools and Town offices will be closed on Tuesday, and all Park and Rec activities for Tuesday have also been cancelled. If you should lose power and are in need of a warming shelter, please call the Emergency Operations Center at 860-669-0451. We are requesting residents to stay home and stay off the roads to allow our emergency personnel to respond to calls and keep the roads open. Be safe, and Thank You.
