Mayor David Martin has declared a Snow Emergency, effective 8:00 p.m. today March 13th. Residents should prepare now! The Snow Emergency will require removal of all vehicles on designated snow emergency streets which are clearly marked with red and white signage. Alternate side of the street parking rules will be in effect. City parking garages will be available free of charge from 5:00 p.m. today March 13th through the duration of the storm emergency. Warming Centers will be opened. Stamford public schools will be closed Tuesday March 14th. Tuesday and Wednesday garbage and recycling has been postponed. Residents should not place toters in the street.
