Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 7 am Tues to 5 am Wed for heavy snow with accumulations of 14 to 18 inches.

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 7 am Tuesday to 5 am Wednesday for heavy snow with accumulations of 14 to 18 inches.

Snow will begin Tuesday morning with the heaviest snow and most significant impacts expected Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night, snow will taper off early Wednesday.

Temperatures around 20 degrees with winds from the north at 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph and visibility from one quarter mile or less at times.

Heavy snow Tuesday and Tuesday night combined with gusty winds and blowing snow that will create near-blizzard conditions at times and lead to dangerous travel conditions.

Conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an
emergency. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. If power is lost, do not use open flame or candles to heat or light your house. Use flashlights or battery powered lighting. Do not heat your house using a cooking stove. If you use a generator, make sure that there is adequate ventilation and the generator is not running in the house or garage and it is not vented toward the residence.
