Deputies arrest Stephanie Firestone for child abuse

LOCATION: 2000 block of Casa Linda in the City of Needles
SUSPECT(S): Stephanie Firestone, 41 years old from Needles
VICTIM(S): 14-year-old male juvenile
SUMMARY: On March 11, 2017 deputies from the Needles Police Department/ Colorado River Station were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 2000 block of Casa Linda Street in Needles.
Deputies contacted a 14-year-old male juvenile who told them he had been in a fight with his mother, Stephanie Firestone. The investigation revealed that Firestone bit the juvenile on the chest, causing visible injuries. The juvenile sustained serious cuts on his face and a large bite mark on his chest requiring treatment by paramedics while at the scene. After further investigation Firestone was found to be in possession of paraphernalia and methamphetamine. Firestone was booked at the Colorado River Station Jail and held on $100,000 bail.
