...SNOW CONTINUES TO MOVE THROUGH THE REGION THIS AFTERNOON... .Low pressure over central Virginia will strengthen as it moves eastward and off the Delmarva coast this afternoon. ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON...

* LOCATIONS...Philadelphia and its suburbs to the west in southeastern Pennsylvania, as well the eastern suburbs in New Jersey.

* HAZARD TYPE...Snow.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 to 4 inches.

* TIMING...Snow will be moderate to heavy at times during the early afternoon hours. Snowfall rates may exceed one inch per hour during this time. Snow will then taper off from west to east by late afternoon. However, scattered snow showers and localized snow squalls are expected later this afternoon and evening.

* IMPACTS...The heavy snow will create snow covered roads and produce scattered power outages.

* WINDS...Northwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* TEMPERATURES...In the lower 30s.

* VISIBILITY...Reduced to one-half mile or less at times.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CAMDEN ... EASTERN MONMOUTH ... NORTHWESTERN BURLINGTON ... OCEAN ... SOUTHEASTERN BURLINGTON
