MCSO arrested a male for a marijuana grow operation in northern Montgomery County. 
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office responded to 4968 E 700 N Crawfordsville to assist another agency this morning at 8:21 AM. As deputies arrived on the property, they discovered a marijuana grow operation.
Marvin J. Prather, 41 years old, was arrested for Cultivating Marijuana, Possession of a Schedule 4 substance and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. He is currently being held in the Montgomery County Jail on a $1,000.00 cash bond.
Deputies seized 194 marijuana plants, 50 grams of hashish, 2 firearms and $5,459 dollars in cash.
The Montgomery County Health Department and Indiana Department of Child Services assisted with the investigation.
