The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing to assist Azusa Police Department with their death investigation of a male Hispanic adult that was found on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Sierra Madre Avenue and Todd Avenue, Azusa.
 
Detectives have learned that Azusa Police Department officers responded to a person dead call.  When the officers arrived they found a male Hispanic adult transient in the riverbed with gunshot wounds to his upper torso.  The victim appeared to have been there for a couple of days. 
 
There is no additional information available at this time.

Date and Time of Discovery: Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at approximately 3:30 p.m.

Location:  Sierra Madre Avenue and Todd Avenue, Azusa (Aqueduct)

Victim:  Male Adult

Suspect(s):  Unknown

Unit:  Homicide Bureau – Sergeant Troy Ewing 

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are responding to the aqueduct at Sierra Madre Avenue and Tood Avenue in the city of Azusa, to assist Azusa Police Department with a death investigation.    
 
The victim was pronounced at the scene.  At this time it is unknown how the victim died. 
 
The investigation is on-going, and there is no additional information available at this time.
