(Harris County, TX) Harris County Sheriff’s Office Child Abuse Unit have arrested and charged a 32-year-old man with the sexual assault of a child

Child Abuse Investigators arrested Ash Morgan Arthur (07/08/84) on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at his residence in the 23400 block of Fox Run Blvd. in north Harris County.

Deputies responded to a welfare check request on Arthur after family members became concerned.

Deputies came to the residence and made contact with Arthur, while there they also found a 15-year-old female runaway that was staying at the residence.

An investigator learned she is originally from Woodland, California, and met Arthur from an online app called KIK in July of 2016.

The two carried numerous online conversations for several months and eventually convincing her to meet him.

The female juvenile had stayed with Arthur for a few days at a local motel and then to Arthurs’ residence.

Investigators learned in the examination interviews that Arthur had sexual contact with the female juvenile.

He is currently being held on a No Bond in the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Detention facility with a court arraignment of March 29, 2017, in the 263 District Court.
