#026 Attempt Commercial Burglary
Officer Gonzales investigated an attempt commercial burglary at Fremont Honda Kawasaki that occurred sometime during the night. An exterior metal door was forced open but entry was not made.
Major traffic congestion was experienced thought Fremont during the evening commute due to the closure of the Mission Bl/I680 northbound on-ramp. Dispatch received numerous calls of reckless drivers. FPD traffic units responded to these areas for enforcement efforts.
#042 Battery
Officers respond to the 34000 block of Paseo Padre Pkwy on the report of a possible fight in progress. Officers arrive and locate a victim and one juvenile suspect. Officer Latimer determined the fight was an a result of an ongoing dispute between three juveniles and the victim. The juveniles physically assaulted the victim. One juvenile was issued a Notice to Appear and released to his mother.
#044, 045, 047 Criminal Threats and Warrant Arrests
A reporting party called 9-1-1 to report 10-15 males in a fight with baseball bats in the area of Deep Creek Rd and Shylock Dr. As officers are responding code (lights & siren), the reporting party advises he sees a female and a male fighting and people trying to separate them. Officers arrived on scene and contacted several people involved. At the conclusion of the investigation, Officer Latimer determines there were no bats involved and the suspect had left the area. Two men were arrested for warrants and taken to Fremont Jail. A 27 year old adult male was arrested for his $25k assault with a deadly weapon warrant and A 27 year old adult male was arrested for his $10k warrant and for possession of a controlled substance
#054 Robbery
At 9:55 p.m., Fremont Police Dispatch received a 911 call from a male who sounded as though he was in distress. Responding officers locate a male near Alder and Bosworth Court and immediately recognize he is injured and bleeding. The man disclosed he was assaulted after a male suspect approached him for money. The victim was transported to a trauma center with major injuries. The suspect was described as a shorter Hispanic male adult, in his 30s to 40s, with a gray shirt. He was armed with a handgun. Officer Tucker and FTO Harvey investigated the incident and it has been forwarded to the Crimes Against Persons Unit for further follow-up. The victim remains hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

#009 Poisson of an Illegal Weapon
Officer Watts and FTO Ehling stopped a 44 year old adult male at Fremont and Decoto. They arrested him for possession of an illegal weapon.
#019 Armed Robbery
Officer Blanchet investigated an armed robbery that occurred at a pharmacy in the 37300 block of Fremont Bl. The suspect was described as a short Asian adult male with a surgical mask, glasses, and a handgun.
#020 Shoplifting Arrest
Officer Carter took a 36 year old adult female into custody from a retail clothing store in the 43700 block of Christy St. Store employees arrested the female for petty theft. Officer Cater investigated and added a charge of unauthorized use of a disabled parking placard.
#026 Armed Bank Robbery Arrest
Officers were dispatched to a robbery alarm at US Bank on Fremont Bl. Employees inside verified a robbery just occurred and the suspect fled on foot. Officer Carter and Officer Butcher located a suspect matching the description near Food Maxx and detained him. The 44 year old adult male, Berkeley resident. was positively identified by the victim and arrested for robbery. The male had the loss on him and had dumped a knife in a nearby liquor store prior to being detained. Case investigated by Officer Geopp and taken over by Det. Gebhardt.
#30 Residential Burglary
A homeowner reported seeing a male trying to open the rear slider of their residence. When the homeowner yelled at the suspect he fled around the side of the house and out of the backyard. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, 20 years old, last seen wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants. No suspect vehicle was seen. Case investigated by Officer Cavaz.
#037 Warrant Arrest
Officers were dispatched to a disturbance at the Warm Springs Jack in the Box. Officer Goepp subsequently arrested a 32 year old adult male for warrants

#005 Auto Burglary
Officer De Stefano was driving by WTH when he was flagged down by a citizen. The citizen advises him of an auto burglary that had just occurred and points to the suspect as he was walking away from the victim vehicle. Officer De Stefano quickly catches up with the 44 year old suspect and finds that the suspect is wearing the victim’s stolen necklace around his neck. He is arrested for the auto burglary.
#029 Public Intoxication Arrest
Sergeant Griese was in her patrol car minding her own business near Fremont and Peralta when a 54 year old adult male walked in front of her car and fell over in the street due to his level of intoxication. He was arrested for being drunk in public and he was transported to jail.
#034 Under the Influence Arrest and Resisting Arrest
Officer Gaziano stopped a 48 year old adult make on a bike near Peralta and Camden. Just as he was about to be searched, per his probation, he took off on foot. During the ¼ mile foot chase, the suspect dumped cocaine and then gave up when finally run down. He is arrested for being under the influence and resisting.
#039 Possession of Methamphetamine
Officer Paiva and Gerber responded to a local hospital on the report of a suspicious person. An adult male is stopped and eventually arrested by Officer Paiva for possession of methamphetamine.
#002 Public Intoxication Arrest
Officer Layfield responded to a report of a drunk female on the doorstep of a residence for and past hour. The 25 year old female is contacted and arrested for drunk in public.
#004 DUI Arrest
Officer Sun was dispatched to the Centerville Carl’s Jr. restaurant on the report of a person in the drive thru passed out. As one would guess, the driver had been drinking a little bit The 28 year old adult male was contacted and arrested for DUI.
