Grand Theft Auto- 27000 block of Violin Canyon Road
The victim reported his 1996 Honda Accord was stolen in the early morning hours. The vehicle was recovered the next day and released to the owner. 

Grand Theft Auto- 31000 block of Ridge Route Road
The victim reported his tan 4-door 2002 Honda Civic was stolen during the early morning hours. 
 

2/26/17 

Vehicle Burglary- 31000 block of Castaic Road
The victim’s neighbor saw someone inside their vehicle in the early morning hours. The suspect fled on foot. The victim reported that a “disabled” placard was missing from the vehicle. 

Remember to never leave valuables in plain view in your vehicle, close and lock your doors. Minimize your risk and avoid being the victim of a crime of opportunity. If you see any suspicious activity, or have information related to a crime, please call the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at (661) 255-1121 or 9-1-1 in an emergency.
