There has been an ongoing problem of luxury car thefts occurring in Bergen County. Last night a River Vale resident and several surrounding towns were victim to vehicle theft. In these cases vehicles were parked on private property with the keys/fob inside the vehicle. We urge all residents lock unattended vehicles and do not store valuables in vehicle. Do not leave your keys or fob in your vehicle. If you see or hear suspicious activity at your residence or your neighbor’s residence please call the River Vale Police Department immediately.
