On Saturday, February 25, 2017, during the evening hours, Sun Ja Choi was found safe by a citizen of Anaheim wandering in the area of the 1100 block of West La Palma Avenue, Anaheim.

Sun Ja Choi was found in fair condition and was transported by the citizen to a local hospital where she is being treated for a minor injury.  She has been reunited with her family at the hospital.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Missing Persons Detail, and Norwalk Sheriff’s Station personnel would like to thank the public for their assistance in Sun Ja Choi’s safe return.

Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Sun Ja Choi, a 68 year-old female Asian who was last seen at her residence on the 13000 block of La Jolla Circle, La Mirada, at 12:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 23, 2017.
 
Ms.Choi is described as 5’0”, 90 lbs., short black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red shirt and blue jeans.
 
Ms. Choi suffers from dementia and the family is concerned for her well being.
