Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected this afternoon and through this evening with rainfall rates of as much as 0.50 inches per hour. This will bring the San Diego River into flood stage. * Flood Warning for the San Diego River At Fashion Valley

* At 1200 PM Monday the stage was 9.9 feet

* Normal low lying areas and roads are flooding now. Minor flooding is forecast

* Flood stage is 11.3 feet

* At 11.3 feet, flood stage and low water crossings over the river. Low water crossing in Mission Valley will be affected and closed.

* Forecast San Diego river stage: SAN DIEGO RIVER Current 9.9 1,480 AT 12PM 02/27/17 FASHION VALLEY (FSNC1) >Flood stage 11.3 BY 3PM 02/27/17 IN 3 HRS

* Max stage 11.9 3,870 AT 8PM 02/27/17 IN 8 HRS

* Impacts: Fashion Valley road, Avenida Del Rio, Camino Del Este, Camino De la Reina and Mission Center Road. At flood stage water will flow into the parking garage and flood the golf course, as well as possibly close the Fashion Valley Transit Center. This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.8 feet on Jan 21 2017. &&
