#016 Under the Influence, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Receiving Stolen Property Arrests
Officer Watts and FTO Ehling led a probation search at a home in the 41700 block of Higgins Way. A 43 year old adult male was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. A 42 year old adult male was arrested for warrants, possession of a controlled substance for sales, and receiving stolen property (loss from a recent auto burglary). A 26 year old adult female was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sales and receiving stolen property.  The General Assignment Detectives responded to assist with the incident.
 
#018 Possession of a Controlled Substance and Probation Violation
Officer Settle stopped a vehicle in the 1600 block of Corporate Way, and arrested a 32 year old adult male for possession of a controlled substance and a probation violation.
 
#020 Commercial Burglary
CSO Anders investigated a commercial burglary in the 4500 block of Thornton Ave. A nearly empty apartment unit that had an open window was burglarized. The loss is unknown.
 
#021 Theft
Officer Carter investigated a theft of rental equipment from a rental company in the 4000 block of Auto Mall Pkwy. The loss is a large scissor lift that was not returned by the renter.
 
#029 Misc. Public Service
A witness reported that two males were walking around in the parking lot of Food Maxx at Fremont and Sundale, and one of the men was handling and carrying a pistol in his hand. As officers responded, the two men drove away in a black Honda, CA lic. # 7EWC709. Officer Carter found the Honda and stopped it at Parkhurst and Sundale. The 18 year old and 20 year old occupants were contacted and the handgun was determined to be a legally possessed replica semi-auto pistol. They gave officers the replica gun for destruction.  There were no victims located at the original scene.  Sgt’s Tang and Aranguren supervised the high risk car stop. SROs assisted with a brief lockdown of Brier Elementary. Officer Bordy documented the investigation.
 
#034 Public Intoxication Arrest
Officer Butcher arrested a 35 year old adult male for public intoxication as well as a probation violation after he was reportedly causing problems at the old Ford dealership on Thornton Avenue.
 
#042 Residential Burglary
Officers investigated a residential burglary that had occurred at the Besaro mobile home Park in Ardenwood between 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. The suspects described appear to be similar to the ones from the residential burglary that took place on the 700 block of Old Canyon Rd (Niles Mobile Home Park) the previous day.  Suspect #1 was described as a female with a medium build, Suspect # 2 was described as a skinny male with short brown hair. The suspect vehicle is a white 4 door vehicle, possibly a Toyota.
