Update to road rage homicide. 
UPDATE TO PRESS RELEASE FROM 2/13/2017:
The victim of this suspected road rage shooting (homicide) is San Leandro resident Wardell Taliaferro, 45 year old African-American male.
The female accompanying Mr. Taliaferro was his girlfriend and the two children in the vehicle were ages 4 months and 4 years. The younger of the two children is the biological child of Mr. Taliaferro.
For the purposes of confidentiality, the San Leandro Police Department will not be releasing any further information regarding the identity of Mr. Taliaferro’s girlfriend and/or the children in the vehicle.
San Leandro Police Department Detectives continue to work on this fluid investigation in an attempt to establish a motive for this tragic incident.
