* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... West central Anne Arundel County in central Maryland... South central Howard County in central Maryland... Montgomery County in central Maryland... Southern Frederick County in north central Maryland... North central Prince Georges County in central Maryland... Loudoun County in northern Virginia... Northwestern Fairfax County in northern Virginia... Southeastern Clarke County in northwestern Virginia... South central Jefferson County in the Panhandle of West Virginia...

* Until 1145 PM EST

* At 1037 PM EST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Point Of Rocks to near Round Hill to near Berryville, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.
