Detectives arrest a Needles woman for arson

INCIDENT: Arson
LOCATION: 2000 Block of Flora Vista St., Needles
SUSPECT: Rosemary Carmen Tompkins, 26 years old, resident of Needles, CA.
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at about 4:44 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to the 2000 block of Flora Vista St. in Needles for a structure fire. Detectives assisted and conducted the investigation. The investigation led detectives to an apartment complex where they contacted Rosemary Carmen Tompkins. Tompkins was taken to the Colorado River/Needles Police Station where she was interviewed and subsequently arrested for PC 451 Arson. Tompkins was booked at the Needles Jail on $100,000.00 bail.
