Ross Valley Flood Notification

The National Weather Service is predicting potential flooding in your area. Residents and merchants in low lying areas prone to flooding should prepare for possible flooding by placing sand bags where necessary and for merchants, installing flood gates and moving cars to higher ground is advised. Stay tuned to local TV and radio stations for updates on the weather. In the event flooding appears imminent, the flood horns or sirens in your area will be sounded. If you hear the flood horn or siren, get to higher floors in your home or higher ground immediately. Do not proceed to flood prone areas, like downtown, to see the creek. Rushing flood waters are fast moving and very dangerous.

Instructions:

Place sand bags where necessary and for merchants, installing flood gates and moving cars to higher ground is advised. In the event flooding appears imminent, the flood horns or sirens in your area will be sounded.
