The Huntley Police Department advises you to AVOID IL RT 47 and MAIN STREET due to on-going false railroad gate activations. Union Pacific had been out approximately one hour ago, but the problem persists.
The downed railroad gates has caused traffic backups and other issues.
Alternates are recommended until the issue can be addressed.
From the north Algonquin Road to Haligus to Kreutzer.
