On Monday, February 6th at approximately 1:16 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a missing person, Asa Hurst, in the 12000 block of Shooting Star Drive in the city of Victorville. The reporting party advised deputies that he walked away from the residence at approximately 10:00 p.m., on Sunday, February 5th and has not returned. Asa Hurst is described as an African American male, 18 years of age, 6’01’ tall, weighing approximately 290 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Hurst was last seen wearing a brown jacket, white shorts and white and black Nike tennis shoes. Hurst was on foot when he left the residence. He has a diminished mental capacity and is said to be friendly with everyone he meets.
