A political protest has ended in downtown Janesville. The organizing group SURJ reported that approximately 700 people attended while Janesville Police estimated the crowd to be around 500. The protest resulted in no arrests, injuries, or property damage. Approximately 50 first responders assisted with security for the event from the Janesville Police Department, Rock County Sheriff's Office, United States Capitol Police, and Janesville Fire Department.
